no~ but if it's a friend's wig, then you definitely wont be able to fix it. Black rock shooter has one ponytail extremely longer than the other.

these are official figurines. see her ponytails? And if you play the psp games or know anything about the series, you'd know she has one shorter than the other. She's not just a song miku sings. :/ maybe you should get to know your character better before you cosplay her

You're very unkindly.. I played the version of the song Miku sings, and this is a my decision. If you don't like It, I'm sorry, but I'ts not my problem and your words are very very unkindly. And I research other cosplays of BRS and I didn't see the different ponytales on anyone.
